Kayla Copeland has been a student of yoga since the early 2000’s.
She was first introduced to yoga from her mom, as a teenager. It wasn’t before long that she found herself attending classes (almost) everyday after school.
Kayla knew she was hooked when she would skip out on school to go to yoga. She continued with her steady yoga practice through college and then decided, ‘it was time!’ and began on the beautiful journey of teaching. She’s studied in depth with Sri Dharma Mittra in New York City and considers him to be one of her main teachers.
Kayla has also been greatly inspired by Eoin Finn, Richard Freeman, Meghan Currie, David Swenson, and Aimee Nitzberg along with many more. She has studied extensively with Sri Dharma Mittra, Aimee Nitzberg, Kenny Graham and Hannah Muse and has received well over 500 hours of yoga training.
Kayla incorporates a focus on well being and mindfulness to each and every one of her classes. Alongside fluid movement and breath awareness, she believes in yoga as a tool to connect with our whole selves, a method of transformation from the inside out. Kayla focuses on building strength through alignment practices alongside offering a creative approach to how one experiences themselves within a yoga practice.
Amidst teaching full time at Pleasure Point Yoga, hosting retreats around the world, and all the beautiful little details that life has to offer, Kayla very much enjoys the arts. She delicately weaves an essence of creativity and inspiration into each and every one of her classes.

You will be guided into deep relaxation of body and mind while receiving an acupuncture treatment designed specifically for you.
Our workshop will begin with a personalized intake of physically, emotional, and overall wellbeing. Diana will choose points based on this and the balancing points of the season. Kayla will lead you through the deeply healing Yoga Nidra session.
Our session includes optional hot stones to warm the body throughout our session and an after treatment seasonal tea.
